4th of July Fireworks Displays Around Kansas City
There’s nothing better than spending a night under the stars with family and friends watching a large fireworks display! Are you still trying to decide where you will head to watch them for this year’s 4th of July holiday? Here are five 4th of July fireworks shows in Kansas City – ranging from South Overland Park to North Kansas City – with one a day early!
Corporate Woods Founders’ Park – Overland Park, KS
Come enjoy one of the best pyrotechnic shows in the area at the Overland Park Star
Spangled Spectacular on July 4th. Located at Corporate Woods Founders’ Park (9711 W 109th Street),
visitors can enter the space any time during the holiday. Events and activities, including live music, food trucks and more will start at 6 p.m. and the fireworks will begin at approximately 9:45pm. Be sure to bring blankets and chairs!
Worlds of Fun – Kansas City, MO
Enjoy the fun of two parks at one price during the day and then sit back and enjoy the firework display that night! The Worlds of Fun firework show consists of lots of red, white, and blue for the whole family to enjoy. Rides will closed at 9:00pm and the show will begin at 9:30pm.
4th of July in Stilwell – Stilwell, KS
Parade around and celebrate Independence Day at Stilwell Community Park. Decorate your bike, golf cart or build a float and register to be in this parade! There is no fee to join and line ups start at 5pm. If you’re planning to enjoy the fun and watch, the parade route will start at 6:00pm at 192nd Street. Stick around to enjoy live music & food before the fireworks display begins at 9:30pm!
2022 Olathe Red, White & Blue – Olathe, KS
Olathe wants you to come out and celebrate Independence Day with their annual 4th of July Red, White, Blue fireworks display at the College Boulevard Activity Center(11031 S. Valley Pkwy). Fireworks will begin around 9:45pm. Restrooms and hand washing stations will be available.
Red, White & Bluhawk – Overland Park, KS
Celebrate the 4th of July a day early with the “Drive In” display at Bluehawk (7951 W 160th Street) on July 3rd! The Red, White & Bluhawk show will start at 9:45. A DJ will be playing starting at 7:30. Tailgate, visit one of the Bluhawk restaurants, bring lawn chairs and enjoy a wonderful night of celebration!
