Bar K | Riverfront in Kansas City, MO
Bar K is more than just a dog park bar, it is a place where people come together for food, drinks and fun…with or without a dog! If you bring your furry friend, you can join as a year long member or purchase a guest pass for the day. The off leash dog park is fully-staffed and features interactive obstacles and items for dogs to romp around on. If you have a smaller pup, don’t worry, there is a secondary location for them to play too!
Events at Bar K are also held often, including DOGA (dog yoga!), live DJ’s, a running club and more. You can also host your own events in their indoor private event space. Be sure to stop by the gigantic Adirondack chair while you’re there, donated by team and agent, Dawn Boedeker! It’s the perfect spot for a photo opp.
Shawnee Mission Dog Park | Shawnee, KS
Dog park meets lake at Shawnee Mission Dog Park! This popular dog friendly park has 44-acres in the off-leash area and features a beach and lake for your four legged friend to swim. You can take a paved trail down to the beach or if you’d like more of an adventure, there are wood chip and natural surface trails in the wooded areas! If you prefer to hike with your dog on a leash, you can find other spots to do this around Shawnee Mission Park, as it is over 120-acres! Be sure to check this map ahead of time and follow the marked signage when you arrive.
Leawoof Park | Leawood, KS
When you think of your typical dog park, Leawoof, just east of City Park is it! You can enjoy large amounts of green space in the off-leash dog park with two sides, one for small dogs and one for large dogs. On the large dog side, you will find obstacles for your pup to enjoy and climb on! Come check out the Leawoof Park and have a blast with your pet in a dog friendly greenland.
CITYDOGS | Downtown Kansas City, MO
CITYDOGS is located in the heart of the Crossroads downtown and adds some green space to the city life! Toys, a dog pool and lots of friends await at this off-leash dog park. Reservations are required to come here, but day passes are available as low as $5. Annual and month to month memberships are available as well. Group play and private play reservations are available as well!
KC Parks & Rec | 5 Parks in Kansas City, MO
KC Parks and rec has five off-leash dog parks to enjoy around the city! These parks all include large grassy fields for pups to run and doggie drinking fountains.
